Last week I heard the sim Dryland would be closing soon. I had never visited before, so I saved the landmark to check out later. Knowing that it would be closing, I decided to spend my time systematically going through the entire sim and taking as many pictures as possible. You can view the set here on flickr. As someone who loves the landscapes of Second Life, I felt the need to document something which would eventually become extinct.
It was an honor for me to be chosen as a blogger for the Nouveaux Creative Collective. Several entries ago I posted an item from The Horror! For this post I’m featuring a shirt from Pixicat, which I have subsequently lived in for the last couple days. It’s original mesh, by the way. Seriously amazing work. I can’t wait to see what else she creates in the future.
