Art Deco is All the Rage

Art Deco
As soon as I put on this jewelry set, I instantly thought of the 1920s, which then conjures up images of art deco design. As with the last set I posted, cameos are a main feature of the earrings and necklace. My favorite feature of this set is that there are so many options for the chokers – I’m wearing all the options here, but you can mix and match as you choose. There is also a broach that comes with it which is not featured.

Giver of Ambrosia

Giver of Ambrosia
Imagine:
Staring out onto a world without pain
While all the anguish of centuries rages inside your bones.
The light from outside is barred from filtering through the window
Darkness wraps around your shoulders like

A warming blanket to prevent hypothermia.
(Poem by me)

Elegance of the Cameo

cameofinalIn real life, I love cameo jewelry. In SL it’s sometimes hard to find them of good quality graphically, so Chop Zuey is definitely the place to turn. To show it off, today I’m wearing the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Cameo set. Upon immediate glance, it is pure elegance not only with the cameos but with the soft peach pearls. If you need a classic set, I don’t hesitate recommending this one. Run to Chop Zuey and pick it up!

Also showing:
Pose: Posesion from the Moondance set
Hair: Envogue
Gown: Asteria Creations

The Prodigal Blogger Returns

Return of the Prodigal Blogger
After a much needed and very fun vacation, I am back to blogging and modeling in Second Life. It felt so strange to be away but it’s the only time I take-off during the year. To re-start my blog, I present my monthly Glamistry post. These Camilla heels are super cute with ties that give the shoes an edgy quality. Could someone send these to me in real life?

As you will notice, this photo was taken directly in-world. I had a completely different idea for this photo initially as I was going to combine it with showing a dress, but my computer had other ideas. Given that I needed to get a new hard drive for my computer because the old one failed, I do not have Photoshop installed yet. But I promise that will change very soon.
