Show A Different Side

Show A Different Side
Using a couples pose by yourself can be challenging at times, even though I did it last month. Lola was kind of enough to participate in my entry today so I could show a different side of this hunt pose than what can be seen in the original vendor image.

What I’m wearing…
Gown: Virtual Diva Couture – Vanity Gown Snow in honor of the opening of Miss Virtual Diva 2018 (get those applications in before April 1st!)
Pose: Posesion – LOR Easter Hunt Couples Pose
Hair: Tableau Vivant – Bouffant Wig
Earrings: Glam Affair – Flower Studs
Backdrop: Foxcity – B.A.D. from Limit8

Many thanks to Lola for posing with me! Make sure to visit her blog.

Secret Santa

Secret Santa

As you saw from my last post, I decided to participate in the Blogger & Vlogger Network Secret Santa this year. The name I drew was…

Jumi Bronx (silberengeln)

As a reserved person, it’s sometimes hard for me to reach out to people, so this post didn’t end up being a collaboration. However, I wanted to make sure that you learn a little about Jumi and how to find her in the blogging world.

Jumi is very talented; she blogs for incredible brands and events and has been doing so since April 2014. To name a few, these include Vanilla Bae, WetCat, Candy Fair, Fantasy Gacha Carnival, Sad November, Salt&Pepper, Limerence, Coming Soon Poses and Mon Cheri.

Jumi has a Second Life family, members of whom she has in her profile. Sometimes her posts become a family-affair. Not only is she a prolific blogger, but she’s also involved in the fashion field in another way: she’s the Blogger Manager for WetCat poses.

Please visit her blog and if you love photos, consider following her on Flickr.

Merry Christmas!

I had the special privilege to do a collaboration post with Cris as part of the Blogger & Vlogger Network Secret Santa. Cris suggested that we could do the post together and I’m so happy she did! I don’t get to do many collaboration posts so it’s a welcome opportunity. Hope you like our festive photo!

My credits…

Gown: Virtual Diva Couture – Holy Couture Gown from the XMas Collection
Hair: Magika – Sparkle
Necklace: Lyrical B!zarre Templates – Holly Necklace

Chances to Make New Friends

Blogger & Vlogger Network in Second Life put forward a collaboration post challenge. For a long time I’ve been wanting to collaborate with someone again, so this was just the right opportunity. I was paired with Marion. Through the whole process she was very sweet and even used her talents with home decorating to create a set for us to pose in. This was a great opportunity to make a new friend. The time coordination definitely took some effort since we live on opposite sides of the world from each other. Overall, it was totally worth making this happen!

Outfit: Pixicat – Janis Set, available at Collabor88
Hair: Wasabi Pills – Dahlia, available at Uber

Marion’s credits are available on her blog by clicking here.

In nearly 3 years of blogging, this is my first collaboration post with someone. I’m elated that we made this happen. Moni is a long-time blogger and has also been a model. She works with me at TEOM Magazine and has been a great part of the team. I feel that she is fast becoming a friend and someone with whom I can share my thoughts. So many of her blog posts have been very informative and I have actually been following her blog and photos in some capacity over the last year (at least). I encourage you to follow her blog not only to see her sense of style, but to utilize it as a useful resource.

She blogs for Ghee so this particular brand was the perfect chance for us to do something together, since I now work for them as well. That’s something I am very happy about – being a store model for Ghee. In the past I had the opportunity to model with Bea Serendipity for a couple of vendor ads, and fingers crossed that opportunity might pop up again. After being accepted as a store model, she sent me an IM which included the dress and boots in this photo. It’s my pleasure to be able to blog them; some of my favorite items so far from Ghee.

At this time I also want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has been reading, following and liking my posts. I appreciate everything you do, because it certainly gives me a sense of purpose when it comes to keeping a blog and sharing my style.
