I liked putting together this calm, cool, collected and casual outfit featuring Signe. The contours of the sweater and jeans are phenomenal. I’m wearing a rail-thin model shape, but the way Areve created the mesh gives me gorgeous curves that look natural and highly realistic. The classy heels are from Glamistry, I’m glad to feature them in this image. It’s once in a blue moon that I actually “set” my own scene, but all the black and blue together inspired me to put together something simple, yet different from the usual.

The Chic Lecturer
This is the outfit I wore yesterday to give a lecture at TEOM Academy about applying for pageants and preparing for live auditions. In actuality, I have been wearing this dress since the Kustom9 started. The combination of the dress and shoes create a very high class look. It made me feel like a chic professor while I stood up in front of the students to talk – even though I was only a guest speaker. If you wear this dress, you are guaranteed to feel comfortable in the lovely fabric and the way it is draped, but at the same time you don’t have to give a second thought about whether or not you look good. In this ensemble (dress, hair and shoes), you will be stunning, hands down.

It’s been stormy and dreary in my hometown lately, so I thought a photo with flowers would brighten the mood. In putting together this look, I definitely took inspiration from my childhood. The dress is youthful and sweet, and I wore the kind of long hair I had as a child. It was so long for a few years that I could easily sit on it. It was nice to create a dreamy image today.

The most recent releases from ANE inspired me to get colorful with today’s photo. Anemysk has made some changes to her designs, and I think they have been positive. She has always produced high quality items and deserves to get a lot of recognition for what she has done so far. I’m so blessed to blog for her.

My Virtue
Something about this dress makes me feel like a snow princess. Pictured are two out of the three lovely offerings from Lassitude & Ennui at The Secret Affair. The sleeves and gown come separately so you can wear them with the gown or add them to another outfit (which could come in handy for mix and match looks or style challenges, hint hint). I wanted to highlight these items in particular because I am always stunned by the fantasy items created by L&E. Since the image was somewhat monochromatic, I decided to spice it up by wearing a make-up set from MUA. By the way, this photo was taken at the sim which will hold the Miss Royalty Pageant auditions and runway challenges. If you are a fashionista and have ever thought about being in a pageant, it is a great way to show your personality and innovative style. Time to Dream
My Second Life has been super busy lately, but it’s finally calming down enough that I can get some blog entries done. Today’s look is quite girly and dreamy, hence the post title. OneWord opened this week with my favorite round yet. The items are truly stunning. C88 is starting in a couple of days and the most magnificent items will be available from Pixicat. The shoes are absolutely exquisite, especially the unicorn faces which are super realistic. If you love fancy shoes like I do, then you want these heels, believe me. Below I have provided a close-up of facial and nail items that I am coveting right now. The eyeshadow as you will see in the credits is available at OneWord as are the nails (which come with a BUNCH of options both for slink or the Maitreya body). The forehead jewels are from OXI for yet another event, the kind Lady Torley would love. This entire look makes me feel ready for dream land.

In Winter
While the color is beautiful, I don’t wear a great deal of pink. Pixicat changed that with her gown, at least for this post. This gown is available at Uber and it’s very special in my eyes. Because of the cut and draping, the gown looks sensual while demure at the same time. I like the way it creates a shape for the avatar body. Also, it’s perfect for this time of year – long sleeves are definitely in right now! This look is almost too cute to handle, and I love how the cupcake nail polish and adorable Truth hair knock it over the edge. It’s fun to go out of my comfort zone for this blog.
