Aqua on My Mind
We’re getting awfully close to the last day of The Instruments for the December round. Today I am showing you the lovely pieces from Wicca’s Wardrobe available at the event. The face and head pieces are so beautifully detailed that I had to give you a close up. This is truly a mesh masterpiece.

Take a Snow Day
Where I’m from, winter has finally found us. The snow is everywhere and it’s pretty icy. But I’m still going to celebrate tonight in small ways. I want to wish you a very happy New Year. May everything you wish for come true in 2016. I hope that you experience much joy and health over the next 365 days. And thank you for stopping by on this holiday to check out my blog post!
Gown: White Room Couture – Ice Queen from The Instruments
Hair: Lelutka – Serena
Head piece: Xen’s Hats – Winter Horns from The Instruments
P.S. The dark shapes on the gown are just shadows from the trees (in case there was any confusion lol).
Jedi Mind Tricks
Dressing up for today’s post truly sent me into another world. I positioned myself in a scene, as if I were a princess running away from potential captors. But instead of actually running away from something, I decided that this image tells the story of a princess running toward a possible future as a Jedi (even though technically women can’t be Jedi, I guess). It’s OK to re-write fiction for the better.

Taking Sci-fi to the Streets
Star Wars now goes urban chic! While the hoodie is definitely very fuzzy, I think I can say with certainty that Chewbacca was not actually harmed in the making of this outfit! I put together this outfit the other day and to be honest, I don’t want to take it off. There is something hip about it, but it’s also casual and comfortable. That cool edge is what I often look for in an outfit. This hoodie is such a great item from Xen’s Hats. Just because something is Star Wars themed doesn’t mean you can’t wear it all the time!

Necklace: Azoury – Excess Necklace

The Force is Strong
This current round of the Instruments is yet another amazingly fun affair. The creators pulled out all the stops when it came to designing items to fit with the Star Wars theme. While I am not the biggest sci-fi nerd out there (I use the term with love), there is definitely something that draws a person into the epic universe of that franchise. With that being said, I did my best today to put together a 21st century look with some futuristic flair. This look is definitely accessible for those of you who might want to stay modern while pulling in a space age essence. This kind of look is perfect for the extraterrestrial dance club.

Sanguine
The Instruments October round is winding down, so here is one of the last looks I will be showing. This is an edgy outfit from Ghee. It will be available today and tomorrow before the event shuts its doors to allow set-up for November.
I also wanted to take the opportunity to plug the fall 2015 collection at Ghee. While I am not showing it here, I wanted to make sure that readers are aware. The new collection is incredibly colorful and it continues with the late summer items that Ghee was putting out which have been inspired by patterns found in Eastern Europe. That is one of the reasons this collection appeals to me. Cultures with rich histories also show it in their clothing. I hope you will take the opportunity to visit the store and see what is available for purchase.

The Hands of Time
The hands of time… are on my chest. Pardon that momentary silliness. Anyway, I love this gown a lot – it definitely fits the witchy theme of the current Collabor88 round, but it could be worn on many other occasions. For this photo, I consider myself to be a very glamorous witch. To make it even more formal, I added this feather bolero.
