Timeless Tale

The items in today’s entry are so gorgeous. They make me feel like a modern princess. BYRNE has this gorgeous dress in 3 colors at the Instruments March round. As you can see, I particularly like the materials-enabled version. This tower is an amazing prop from Exposeur; it comes with 5 singles poses and 3 couples poses. The brand always has interesting poses and sets, but I have to honestly say that this is one of my favorites. You’ll find it at the current round of OneWord. Hurry over though, because tomorrow is the last day it’s available.

Beckoning Spring

Given that the weather is warming up where I live and the birds have come back singing, I’m ready for spring to finally be here. In a way I kind of feel like Belle from Beauty and the Beast with the blue and yellow. The colors make me very happy. There are a mix of event items for this look and the photo was taken at Obsession Exposed Studio and Gardens. It’s an amazing sim with lots of locations for great shots. I go there regularly.

The Tiefling’s Companion

‘Tis the season for fantasy items in Second Life. It’s my favorite genre in terms of books and movies.

Over the weekend while piecing together this look I had some difficulty finding the right necklace in my inventory that would fit the ensemble. Yesterday I was fortunate to be accepted as a blogger for Lassitude & Ennui. One of the most recent releases from L&E is Ravenskull necklace. It comes in silver, gold, copper and black; it is perfect for any fantasy outfit and the copper version nicely complements the bronze Ornate Dress from Pixicat (which everyone loves, myself included, of course). I chose blue for the horns from Gala Fashion Design so it would somewhat match the light blue skirt of the dress. Both the horns and the dress are HUD controlled. There are probably hundreds of color combination possibilities for the horns, alone. These two items are also original mesh.
