Over the long weekend, I took four days to visit New York. During those days, I visited a lot of my old haunts. The interesting innovation and the upcoming fashion week inspired me to style this look. It certainly isn’t quite like anything that would be found in the city, but the vibrant blue, whimsical heels and structured corset bring out small details of some of the outfits I saw people wearing. These are the sorts of items I wish I owned in real life. Actually, the Colde Heels from Machoire remind me of the fashion from the Hunger Games. In fact, there is a exhibition in Times Square which features many of the costumes from it. I could see the character Effie being able to pull off these heels with no problem.
There are great things this week for Hello Tuesday, especially from LivGlam. The outfit I’m wearing for today’s entry is exquisite. It comes in three pieces: shirt, jacket (especially love the pointed shoulders) and the shorts. Also, I’m presenting you some furniture items from the event Save the Date. There are exclusive and regular sale items as well as gachas. It will begin on Thursday. I was accepted as a blogger and there are so many great things on the way for shoppers! As an aside, how do you like my new home? It feels so comfortable for me already, even though I only just moved in yesterday. Special thank you, as always, to Zee ❤

My second preview post for FashionART! Don’t forget, the event officially opens tomorrow. This gown is the newest release from Snowpaws and comes in three colors. The flamingo, shown here, was my favorite. Multiple accessories available at FashionART coordinated beautifully to form this ensemble. You will find the Mbao bag from Pure Poison, Brooke shoes from M&M Incorporated in a billion colors and lots of hair options from Damselfly.

Thus begins my round of posts for the FashionArt event created by The Glamourist PR. The actual start of the event is not until Friday, but Kyria sent out the Butterfly Storm gown to bloggers today, so I jumped at the chance to preview it for you. As you can see, the gown is spectacular with it’s silk mesh bodice, large princess skirt and swirling butterfly attachment. Wearing this gown makes me feel like I’m wandering through a fairytale. The skirt is just short enough to leave room to show the shoes you are wearing. Mine are a past 55 Thursday item from LivGlam. The hair featured in this outfit is Shiori, one of two newest releases from Argrace. I showed you the other release several posts ago. The hair is ideal for wedding, but I also think it is great for any formal occasion.
Gown: KL Couture – Butterfly Storm – red (Exclusive for FashionArt event starting 5/9)
Shoes: LivGlam – Mystic Pump – red
Hair: Argrace – Shiori – light brown
Necklace: Pure Poison – Love Me Necklace (past group gift)
Pose: Pipit (Nouveaux May hunt)
Over the months I have attended several fashion shows in which Snowpaws was featured. The brand is nothing but couture. What is even more lovely is the fact that no matter how many lindens you have in the bank, there is something that everyone can afford at Snowpaws. In this way, the brand and my blog are a wonderful match. I’m excited to say that Carrie accepted me as a brand blogger.
The look for today is full of metallics. The ice white of the gown and the drape of the train make me think back to the gown I wore on my wedding day. This color truly brings forth the wonder and bliss of that special day. It’s the perfect gown to wear to the formal ball or any chic event on the grid.
Fitted mesh is amazing – I can’t get enough of it! For this week’s Steals and Deals from LivGlam, their outfit “I Will be There” comes with the usual standard sizing items (sweater and pants combo) but there is an additional fitted mesh option for those who have a viewer with the feature enabled. Let me tell you – it definitely frees up the ol’ inventory. I wanted to highlight the back of the sweater for this image because the silk ties are an exquisite touch. The front of the sweater is covered in white and gray sequins so it’s gorgeous from any direction. For a pop of color I wore the coral earrings from Pure Poison which are one of the newest group gifts. The detail on them is stellar. They’re a classy match for any outfit and can take something casual to the next level.
