It’s very strange. For some reason in SL, black is my go-to color. I wear a lot of it. In real life, you would NEVER catch me in black because it washes out my pale skin. Needless to say, with OneWord having the theme of Darkness, I have been having a good time blogging and creating images.
Considering I’m wearing a gown from Snowpaws in this post, I would like to provide a bit more information about the brand. In honor of the brand reaching 20k members in the group, there is now a “Black Sale” (talk about keeping with the theme of my post!) until the 15th. There are certain black items in the store available for 99L. Head on over there and have a hunt!

Wow, real life has been really hectic this week with a super long final exam. I’m starting off my posts for the month of May today with a close-up photo. Great items are available for the events that I blog and they really needed this kind of shot. Given there are many more, I will probably do a few more photos like this so I can better show you the details of each piece. The theme today is a little dark, which I suppose mirrors my current stress level. I hope you find everything as exquisite as I do.

For today’s blog entry, I visited a fantasy world. Pixicat will be releasing this armor very soon and I feel like a powerful warrior in it. One of the metal options fit well with a metal option fo the necklace, as well. I’m very lucky to have received both these items in the last several days. Unfortunately they aren’t available quite yet, but you’ll see them in May (which is tomorrow!).

The items in today’s entry are so gorgeous. They make me feel like a modern princess. BYRNE has this gorgeous dress in 3 colors at the Instruments March round. As you can see, I particularly like the materials-enabled version. This tower is an amazing prop from Exposeur; it comes with 5 singles poses and 3 couples poses. The brand always has interesting poses and sets, but I have to honestly say that this is one of my favorites. You’ll find it at the current round of OneWord. Hurry over though, because tomorrow is the last day it’s available.

Tuesday seems to have become my blogging day! I will try to do more. Slife has been hectic and real life is full of drama. I do what I can between the raindrops. My current obsession in RL is professional and business clothing, so I was excited to see Amarelo Manga promoting their winter collection. It’s for the chic and fashion-forward working lady. At least that’s how I see it, probably because I’m a working lady in both worlds. This look also had a fanciful vintage feel, so I added some whimstical highlights.

My Second Life has been super busy lately, but it’s finally calming down enough that I can get some blog entries done. Today’s look is quite girly and dreamy, hence the post title. OneWord opened this week with my favorite round yet. The items are truly stunning. C88 is starting in a couple of days and the most magnificent items will be available from Pixicat. The shoes are absolutely exquisite, especially the unicorn faces which are super realistic. If you love fancy shoes like I do, then you want these heels, believe me. Below I have provided a close-up of facial and nail items that I am coveting right now. The eyeshadow as you will see in the credits is available at OneWord as are the nails (which come with a BUNCH of options both for slink or the Maitreya body). The forehead jewels are from OXI for yet another event, the kind Lady Torley would love. This entire look makes me feel ready for dream land.

Autumn is my favorite season. The temperature starts to get a little brisk, the sunsets become even more colorful and all the leaves change into bright hues. For me, autumn is also about the clothes. I love being able to wear darker jewel tones, all kinds of oranges, reds and greens. My love for these colors and this particular time of year is what I have tried to convey with this photo. The basket and pose are from Oneword and the dress is from The Instruments. Both events opened on November 1st. Actually, November is one of the most exciting months for events in my opinion.
