Halloween Hayride

SMA has put together its annual haunted hayride for Halloween. It’s happening today and tomorrow from 12-2pm SLT. The owners did an incredible job decorating and building so you don’t want to miss the chance to see what they’ve done, and the incredible fashion, first-hand. You’ll find me near the church dressed as an evil queen.

Join the Madness

Today is the opening of the Moolto.com Madness Hunt which will run for the next month. I’ve decided to show the hunt gift made by BYRNE, which is this fun cobweb-covered suit that comes in two different colors. It is great for Halloween and the bold pattern is a true BYRNE signature. While I’m not a spider fan generally, I instantly loved this outfit. It comes with spiders that sit on your hands, in your hair and on the jacket clasp.

The Fashion Zombie

It’s almost Halloween, which means this photo was very much needed! I used a windlight similar to one used by Miaa Rebane on a blog post she made last year. The items I am wearing are awesome – the head dress is from PurpleMoon; I think Poulet has outdone herself. The top and skirt is by Pixicat for TAG Gacha. I wore the two items separately and played with the rare HUD so that I could have different colored eyes on each. The fun part is that the eyes move! It’s outfits like this which turn me into a Halloween type of person.

Even thought it’s still September, I am getting into the Halloween spirit. I don’t celebrate it in real life (although I do decorate for fall and harvest), but I have fun dressing in black and posing with pumpkins in Second Life. I definitely feel like a bit of a witch in this outfit, but I mean that in a very positive way!
