Rhapsody in Blue
Today marks the grand open of the much anticipated event called Rhapsody. Pixicat has a dress designed specifically for the “metal” theme. This corresponds with the section of the event set-up where you will find her stall as the designers have been grouped into genres. As accessories to this amazing dress, you will find a bag and arm bracelets available. I am showing the bag here, which is very badass with its glistening silver spikes. There are multiple pattern options for the skirt portion of the dress. You can choose from roots, ombre, flat or shiny. For this photo, I decided on shiny since it’s a texture I don’t wear enough! It’s also the type of texture that in my opinion is hard to create, but of course Areve has done it wonderfully.
My other accessories are a beautiful recent release from Finesmith called Late Bloomer. All the pieces are delicate yet dramatic. You will turn heads everywhere. I’ve already had multiple people staring at these jewelry items throughout today. Also, you need some quality footwear with any ensemble, so I’m wearing the Manhattan shoes from Essenz.

Hunting in Nouveaux
Today’s post is dedicated to the items which you can find in this month’s Nouveaux hunt. Items are hidden in pink and purple flowers inside the stores. Look carefully! There are also hints. Pixicat, Olegun, The Horror, Moon Amore, Pipit and Shy Girls are participating. My post yesterday shows the choker prize from The Horror.
On the left I am wearing the shirt from Moon Amore, which comes with a HUD of multiple designs. The skirt is the prize from Shy Girls. The Prudence dress on the right is a floral version and if you are interested in solid colors, you can buy those in Areve’s store. The bag is from Olegun, which has an imbedded pose (not active here but can be seen on the vendor image on the sim). There are three other patterns for sale in her store. The poses used by both Amity’s are from Pipit’s set for the hunt, which I have previously blogged. What I probably didn’t tell you about before is that the prize comes with a pose HUD! Such a good and practical idea.
The hunt continues through the end of the month, so you have plenty of time to grab your gifts. These designers are super generous, so I strongly suggest that you do not miss out on the opportunity.

Tuesday Selfie
Hello Tuesday is here, again! There have been so many amazing new releases on the grid in general that it’s hard to keep up and I want to get my hands on them all. The clothing in this post is from LivGlam for Hello Tuesday. The outfit is titled “Budapest,” which instantly makes me think of Michael Jackson and his trip to Romania (he shouted “How are you doing, Budapest?” from the balcony of the People’s House in Bucharest). This outfit has a touch of rock and roll with it’s gold and leather. It’s available in fitted mesh, so make sure to adjust your shape so it fits properly, especially in the back.
My accessories for this post are super cute and are a reflection of my love for juxtaposition. They are a fun contrast to the edgy tone of LivGlam. The shoes are “Athens” from Essenz which are a 100L sale item for a limited time. There are a bunch of other styles to choose from, all of them are gorgeous so it was a tough decision. My crown ring, which is to die-for, is a gacha item available at Fit for a Princess by Moon Amore. Each color scheme comes with three ring textures, which is lovely – you can coordinate your outfit better this way. My choker is from The Horror as part of Nouveaux’s second hunt. This time you will be looking for flowers in the stores. There are five other items to show, so come back tomorrow for a post featuring the rest of them!
