The hands of time… are on my chest. Pardon that momentary silliness. Anyway, I love this gown a lot – it definitely fits the witchy theme of the current Collabor88 round, but it could be worn on many other occasions. For this photo, I consider myself to be a very glamorous witch. To make it even more formal, I added this feather bolero.
On my bucket list of countries to visit, India is certainly high on the list. Back in high school I almost had the chance, but the family I was going to stay with came down with a terrible sickness. Everyone recovered fine, but my host felt it would ruin my trip to potentially get sick as well. The sentiments about protecting my health were certainly generous. I am sad to have missed the opportunity, but look for a chance to go some day. So, since I cannot visit yet in real life, I can travel there in Second Life. And even better, I get to wear a gorgeous Indian-inspired dress and shoes from White Room Couture to complete the dream. The designer was inspired by several countries and made three version of each item. The Indian version spoke to me the most due to its vibrant color and pattern.
This is also my first blog photo taken in Black Dragon viewer. Unfortunately, Firestorm acts up for me when I try to take photos. It will remain my default viewer, but when I need photos for this blog or TEOM Magazine, I will use the other. CtrlAltStudio and Singularity were also mentioned as possibilities when I posted about the issue on Facebook. The one thing I miss about Firestorm are the photo tools.
It’s been stormy and dreary in my hometown lately, so I thought a photo with flowers would brighten the mood. In putting together this look, I definitely took inspiration from my childhood. The dress is youthful and sweet, and I wore the kind of long hair I had as a child. It was so long for a few years that I could easily sit on it. It was nice to create a dreamy image today.
I apologize for the delay in posting an entry wearing this outfit. The edgy frills are a great design feature on this skirt from BYRNE. She designs some great items. In the back, should you decide to wear the outfit, are teal spikes in the same pattern as the rest of the garments. My inspiration for this photo was a girly, floral nymph enjoying a beautiful day in the sun. I have been craving nice weather, and thankfully that has been answered recently. We skipped spring around here and went straight to summer.
As an aside, this photo was taken at the sim called It All Starts with a Smile.

Here is my second post for the Penumbra Fashion Week. I chose to go with quite a girly look this time. And I stayed away from a lot of black! I hope you will check out this ankle-length dress from Ghee, available in several colors. What I like most is that it comes in two layers; the lace is separate from the silk piece underneath. That makes not only for a great look together, but also the option to mix and match.

Necklace: ANE – Forbidden Fruit Necklace
Head piece: LODE – Snapdragon from Shiny Shabby

Dress: Ghee – Summer Silk and Lace Dress for Penumbra S/S Fashion Week 2015
This time of year is so full of red! Good thing it is my all-time favorite color. Usually I would pair it with even more black since that’s sort of my signature, but I wanted to be relatively ethereal and lighthearted with this photograph. The aim of the composition was to make it appear as if my avatar is coming through a portal from another dimension. The items for the look today were very inspiring to me.
Dress and leggings: Whimsical Imaginarium – Crazy Valentina for The Instruments
Wings: Remarkable Oblivion – Eternity Wings
Hair: Tableau Vivant – My Love from this round of Collabor88
Pose and prop: Bauhaus Movement – Anais’s Violin from this round of Collabor88
Considering it’s snowing outside right now where I live, being under the sea seems like the perfect alternative. The dress from Haste for Fantasy Collective is gorgeous and it comes in so many different colors; it was difficult for me to choose which to show you. Make sure to take a look at all 10 options available. Each skirt cascades into an ombre at the knee. It’s a lovely alternative for those of us not lucky enough to have the power to turn into a mermaid.
The necklaces I’m wearing (yes, there are two) are created by Yummy. Over the last few months I have absolutely fallen in love with this brand. To me, I don’t see the praises for Yummy sung enough. The quality on every peace is immaculate.
My Second Life has been super busy lately, but it’s finally calming down enough that I can get some blog entries done. Today’s look is quite girly and dreamy, hence the post title. OneWord opened this week with my favorite round yet. The items are truly stunning. C88 is starting in a couple of days and the most magnificent items will be available from Pixicat. The shoes are absolutely exquisite, especially the unicorn faces which are super realistic. If you love fancy shoes like I do, then you want these heels, believe me. Below I have provided a close-up of facial and nail items that I am coveting right now. The eyeshadow as you will see in the credits is available at OneWord as are the nails (which come with a BUNCH of options both for slink or the Maitreya body). The forehead jewels are from OXI for yet another event, the kind Lady Torley would love. This entire look makes me feel ready for dream land.
