Hippie Chick

So… I’m jumping in head first and participating in the Miss Royalty pageant. While I’m incredibly nervous, I’m also very excited to see what it brings. These are going to be a busy next few months. While this is the second pageant I will have done, that doesn’t make it less of an adventure.

To officially start my journey, I decided to make a post to show my audition outfit. We were given the theme of “hippie chic.” Honestly, this was a challenge for me. As my friends will tell you, I have a pretty tailored, straight-laced and elegant personal style. Lots of jackets, gowns, lace dresses and suits. On the rare occasion I might wear skinny jeans. But I must emphasize the word rare. Having to style something relaxed, free-spirited and casual is stepping outside the box for me. I am happy, however, with the end result. It took many days, but was of course worth the effort since I’m now Miss Royalty Romania. Even if I had not been selected from the audition, the experience would have been 100% worth it because I had the chance to practice the fundamentals of a styling genre.

Lina

This week since coming back from my New York trip, SLife has been chaotic. The 24 event by Siren Productions has started and yesterday I was in one of the fashion shows. United Colors is a new-ish brand to me, but their existence is not new. I had seen them around fashion shopping events for a while. Therefore, it was a great experience to be a part of that show. It doesn’t feel like I get to model casual fashions much in my career, so I have fun changing it up. My favorite look was the Lina dress, which is also their main exclusive for the 24. It was the first of my three looks. It was fun to choose poses and a walk for it, with the sleek and narrow ankle-length pencil skirt bottom.

Take me to those vintage days, Annie

This week was very exciting for me. I received an instant message from one of my MVW sisters, LuceMia (top 5 from this year), asking if I would consider blogging for GIULIADESIGN. It was an easy answer. I have admired the designs for quite some time and always took a look at the vendor ads that LuceMia puts on her social media. Many of my friends and models have raved about GIULIADESIGN, so this opportunity is an honor for me. I am in love with the Annie dress and I thought the purple matched well with my hair and skin tone. It is modern, yet has a vintage sophistication that will have you commanding attention everywhere you go in the metaverse. Also, as you can see in the photo, when advanced lighting mode is activated, you will see materials effects on the dress that give it a realistic pop.

Tuesday seems to have become my blogging day! I will try to do more. Slife has been hectic and real life is full of drama. I do what I can between the raindrops. My current obsession in RL is professional and business clothing, so I was excited to see Amarelo Manga promoting their winter collection. It’s for the chic and fashion-forward working lady.
