Dress: Snowpaws – Sur Mesh for Cosmopolitan Sale Room
Pose: Verocity – Natasha for Hello Tuesday
Bracelets: GizzA – Bangles from the Chained Treasure Set at La Metallique Fair
Hair: Mina – Femke v2 for Cosmopolitan Sale Room
Over the months I have attended several fashion shows in which Snowpaws was featured. The brand is nothing but couture. What is even more lovely is the fact that no matter how many lindens you have in the bank, there is something that everyone can afford at Snowpaws. In this way, the brand and my blog are a wonderful match. I’m excited to say that Carrie accepted me as a brand blogger.
The look for today is full of metallics. The ice white of the gown and the drape of the train make me think back to the gown I wore on my wedding day. This color truly brings forth the wonder and bliss of that special day. It’s the perfect gown to wear to the formal ball or any chic event on the grid.
Tea time is not a big thing in the United States, but whenever I visited my aunt’s house growing up we always had a tea break at 4pm. To match the floral beauty of today’s design “American Beauty” released by LivGlam for the Hello Tuesday event, I stopped by Rico’s Tea House. Everyone has been saying such positive things about the place and it’s true – the setting is beautiful. American Beauty by LivGlam is deceiving – it’s actually a mesh outfit comprised of two parts. The semi-transparent top and skirt hem, along with their beautiful draping, are the details which drew me to the outfit. It is available in the purple you see here as well as green, red and turquoise.
New things are wonderful! It has been a little while since there was a new gift at Hudson’s, so here it is! It’s a casual shirt dress for the person who is not afraid to wear a bold pattern. The edgy bag featured here prominently is Pixicat’s item for the latest round of Kustom9. Orange is just one of the available colors. There 4 lip types, 9 lipstick colors, 3 hold options (crossbody, shoulder and hand) and several piercing options to customize your bag. My favorite colors are orange, peach, blue and silver. What’s even more fun is that Pixicat provides matching lip colors for your avatar! It’s a great idea.
Mix-and-match styling is what I have for you today. Not to dive too much into religion, but here are a few fun facts for the day: some call this day Easter, while others, such as myself, call it Pascha. The typical greeting that is given between now and Pentecost is “Christos a inviat!” with the response of “Adevarat a inviat!” Translated into English this is “Christ is risen! Indeed He is risen!”
There are many symbols in various cultures attributed to this day. I decided to play on the symbol of the rabbit, which is based on German folk beliefs about a hare that laid eggs in spring. Yellow is a common color of Easter eggs and other candies. Many spring flowers are bright yellow and are some of the first new plants we see popping out of the ground.
The rabbit mask I’m wearing is part of the HEYDRA Bunny outfit, a new release in store. The entire outfit is compromised of the mask, a cute fluffy tail, a skin-tight jumpsuit and boots – all in black. Very important announcement: For the rest of today and ALL of tomorrow, you will find the entire collection at HEYDRA available for 35% off. Hurry over for a chance to get the items on sale. The top I’m wearing here is actually a sports bra, a soon-to-be new release from Allure that has not yet come out in stores. But I promise it will be there soon! What you cannot see in the photo is the detail on the back of the bra which is white breathable fabric. The creator of Allure is also in the process of finishing a new group gift, so make sure to visit the store. There are also little rabbits hanging on my ears, which were sent out as the group gift from Pure Poison this week. They are still available it the group notices. PP is also having an Easter sale which lasts until the 22nd, with the addition of a 10L exclusive gacha. After a few quiet months, The Horror released a new group gift with several goodies inside, including this eyebow ring (which I’m in love with) AND the face streak set which includes nose ring and cute triangular nose tattoos in black and tintable versions.
This photo happened today by complete accident, but I love how it turned out. I have not edited it because I liked the raw version so much. For some reason, it makes me think of a sci-fi or futuristic movie with the combination of the desert and the sheen on the leggings/skirt. Yes, this outfit actually comes in two parts. The top is a dress (part 1) and the rest is a pair of leggings with boots included (part 2). They could be worn separately to compliment other clothing items. I especially like the idea of wearing the leggings with a crop top or pairing the dress with a pair of booties. You will find the whole outfit, called “Love Hangover” available at the LivGlam store for 55 Thursday. You can change the colors and patterns using the enclosed HUD system. The other available pattern type for the bodice is artistic flowers.

We ❤ Roleplay is still in full-swing. Today I present you with the two offerings available there from Distorted Dreams. The items are the Totty Gown and the Asjo Earrings, both available for 50% off at the event. This is a wonderful deal for beautiful statement pieces. The earrings are fantasy but have an art deco twist, so they can be worn for many occasions. In this post I would also like to introduce Poseway which is a new-to-me store for, you guessed it, poses. They have a discount area in addition to regular-priced sets and they also have a free opening gift in store, which is where the pose I’m using comes from. There are a bunch in the pack which range from high fashion to more edgy or avant garde.
Distorted Dreams recently accepted me as an official blogger, and I couldn’t be happier! DD’s accessories and gowns feature exquisite and unique detail. They are the perfect mix of class and fantasy. In other words, DD and Amity Style were a match made in heaven ❤ The dress I’m wearing here is available from Distorted Dreams at the Genre event. The theme for April is “Big Band” so you’ll see a lot of 20s and 30s inspired items. Only one day left until the sim opens!
The hair from Truth is a gorgeous low updo available at the Seasons Story and has four different colors of flower attachment to choose from, or you can wear without it. Try teleporting there about 15 or 20 times, you will eventually get in! The crossbody bag I have on is a gacha item available in the Pixicat shop. I have been coveting it FOREVER. Literally. It comes with a HUD that allows you to choose a blue or brown eye. It also comes with three versions in the pack; clutch, shoulder bag and crossbody.
We ❤ Roleplay has been going on for a little while now and I’m happy to show this book and flying pages from Pixicat. Every time Areve releases something, I continue to be amazed. For some time I’ve wanted to pose in the Pipit store in Nouveaux; the curtains, wall and camera make such a cute backdrop.
What appears to be a shirt and dressy shorts that I’m wearing is actually a romper. It was created by Amarelo Manga for the most recent round of Designer Circle which goes for another week – until April 19th. The brown is quite attractive. Honestly, I don’t wear too much of that color, but I love the richness of this tone. If you need an all-in-one outfit for running out to a fancy lunch of business function, then this is a must-have for your wardrobe!
The jacket, top and pants, called “End of the Sky,” will be released tomorrow by LivGlam as part of Secret Wednesday. The outfit and other looks are available in the mainstore and at 100L or less. This is an opportunity to get exquisite detail and high quality for a reasonable price. There is no way you won’t look like a star. There are four patterns (two animal and two graphic) to choose from for the top and it can be changed by using the enclosed HUD. Stop by the store to view the options. “End of the Sky” is the type of outfit you would see in a glossy magazine spread.
The rabbit embellishment on my jacket is actually a collar tip which is best worn with a button-up shirt. The chain detail goes well with the punk rock vibe of the whole outfit. I added the rabbit ring for good measure. The only piece not shown of the jewelry collection is the necklace, which has three rabbits in all. You can pick this up as a new release at the Pixicat store. The ring is my favorite because it fits my mesh hands. It’s been a challenge for me to find any rings that naturally go on them, so I’m super pleased with what Pixicat has created.
