I’m very happy to be showing you pieces from a set created by Amarelo Manga. The pattern of the dress is one that I instantly fell in love with due to its richness and vibrance. It is actually inspired from the real life fabrics used by the Amarelo Manga brand.
In other news, Posesion has opened an outlet section on the first floor of the store. It is full of 200L pose packs that will stay that price forever. Click here for your taxi.
The backdrop for today’s photo reminded me of the closing credits for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, so I was inspired to use a famous line from the theme song as the post title. It is a lovely song and Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorite Disney films growing up, although Mulan did eventually take its place.
Today I’m showing you another blue and white dress from the one of the most recent Amarelo Manga collections. I was inspired to again visit New York City to demonstrate just how perfect this dress is for a girl on the go.
I also added the beautiful Angel Heart necklace available this month for the Mix event. You have several colors to choose from and two different metals. I though the citron matched best with the dress. It is a great reminder that there are angels all around us and it is important to be kind.
Aren’t these items simply gorgeous?
Finally, if you are interesting in reading a “day in the life of a model” story, then look below…
There is something youthful and fresh about this wonderful little dress. I’m ready for a walk down the rich streets of Amsterdam. The pattern makes me think of the blue swirls and decorations found on some types of china plates. Don’t you just love it?
Tuesday seems to have become my blogging day! I will try to do more. Slife has been hectic and real life is full of drama. I do what I can between the raindrops. My current obsession in RL is professional and business clothing, so I was excited to see Amarelo Manga promoting their winter collection. It’s for the chic and fashion-forward working lady. At least that’s how I see it, probably because I’m a working lady in both worlds. This look also had a fanciful vintage feel, so I added some whimstical highlights.
Deesses Skins has JUST released appliers for the Wowmeh and Slink mesh bodies. This entry is dedicated to my review of the applier and also to showcase the gorgeous ensemble by Amarelo Manga for Designer Circle round 84 (the only thing not shown are the sunglasses).
The particular skin and tone I’m wearing today are Jamila in flat white on my Wowmeh Silhouette version 1.0. If you want darker tones, then Deesses is where you want to shop. The details on the face and lips, specifically, are exquisite. In order for the hud to work the best, I wore the hands and feet by Wowmeh, even though I typically would wear Slink. The applier hud only works with the newest version of Wowmeh, so make sure you have bought it or updated already.
As with most appliers, you will receive a hud. It takes up a large portion of the middle part of the screen and has all 8 skin tones in it. Something to note is that when you attach the HUD, it might look as though it’s not selectable because a hand icon (on windows) doesn’t show up. At least it didn’t for me. Don’t let that deceive you because it is selectable, just click the body shape for the tone you want. In addition, the hud comes with the two cleavage options of the skin. That’s super handy!
The appliers for slink hands and feet are sold separately, but you will be able to buy them in store near the front door. The only real issue I spotted with the mesh attachments is that depending on the windlight, you can see the lines where each part meets the main body, even though they were all made by Wowmeh. That mostly has to do with the attachments themselves and less with the skin. The same goes for the line between the body and the avatar neck. It’s quite obvious in my photo, so just be prepared for that if you don’t wear a mesh head.
Overall I’m so honored to have been chosen to review the Deesses appliers for Wowmeh. It was fun to poke around and test them out. As a final note, try the lipsticks too! There are a ton of colors and I had to try every single one on before I finally chose the one that best matched today’s ensemble.
This is the last day of Designer Circle Round 83. Amarelo Manga has multiple items available there – the top and miniskirt, sunglasses and a blue bag. The latter I am not showing here. Today’s look was a good excuse for me to show-off a necklace I have been coveting for several weeks from Hex Appeal and the hair from Ohmai that I bought recently at Hair Fair. The Eli hair, along with the others made by Ohmai at the event, has the regular version and the one shown here with a “tweeter” which is animated and beyond cute. I love this so much as a summer look!
