Lina

This week since coming back from my New York trip, SLife has been chaotic. The 24 event by Siren Productions has started and yesterday I was in one of the fashion shows. United Colors is a new-ish brand to me, but their existence is not new. I had seen them around fashion shopping events for a while. Therefore, it was a great experience to be a part of that show. It doesn’t feel like I get to model casual fashions much in my career, so I have fun changing it up. My favorite look was the Lina dress, which is also their main exclusive for the 24. It was the first of my three looks. It was fun to choose poses and a walk for it, with the sleek and narrow ankle-length pencil skirt bottom.

Dress: United Colors – Lina from The 24

I want to take a moment to tell you about a great tip that Shazzy Valentine gave me for the SoliDea FoliEs show at Model’s Workshop this week. It has already proved incredibly useful. It’s safe to say that for 100% of fashion shows, models either use a DV C or VPC to communicate with the staff and other models. It can become cumbersome to continually type /9 before writing in responses, especially when a split second response is needed when being cued. To help, go to preferences > Chat > Typing and click “Show channel selection in chat bar.” A tiny text box will appear, and that is where you will type the channel like 9 or 6 and hit enter. It will stay there until you put it back to zero.
